In early September the air in Grindelwald is clear and cool, the summer visitors have gone home and the paths fall quiet. Altitude pairs a strong morning practice with walks to the Grosse Scheidegg, the Bachalpsee and the Faulhorn. In the evenings, yin and restorative undo what the day has put into your legs.
Physically this is the most demanding of our retreats: on three days we walk four to six hours, with up to 900 metres of ascent. You need no yoga experience, but you do need sure footing and boots that are worn in. Wednesday is a rest day, and if you would rather skip a walk, stay at the chalet.
You need no experience. We show every posture and offer a gentler version of each.
Every session is optional. The programme is an invitation, not a timetable: if you would rather sleep, read or walk, do that, and owe no one an explanation.

Good to know
You take part at your own risk. Please check that you are fit to do so and take out travel and cancellation insurance; it is not included in the price.
