Slow Mornings is our quietest retreat. The morning practice starts at a quarter past seven, the evenings belong to supported poses with blankets and bolsters, and there is plenty of free time in between. If you have never practised yoga you are as welcome as someone with years of practice: every pose has a simpler and a harder version.

In mid-June the meadows around the chalet are in full flower and the evenings stay light for a long time. On Thursday we walk together to the Bachalpsee; on the other afternoons you can swim in the mountain lake, lie in the sauna or read on the balcony. We take twelve guests at most, so the group stays small and calm.

You need no experience. We show every posture and offer a gentler version of each.

Every session is optional. The programme is an invitation, not a timetable: if you would rather sleep, read or walk, do that, and owe no one an explanation.
